I would appreciate some assistance with the solder points for the solenoid internal wire connection as they are not connected.

Is that a semaphore? How do you know they are not connected? I would imagine you have 3 wires,a common to the solenoid and bulb socket,a wire to the bulb and a wire to the coil. If the coil does not work it could be open.

The #82 Semaphore has a bi-metallic delay element in it also that needs to be wired in.
Research has come up with the following wiring:
The heater element is wired to terminals 1-3.
The heater contacts are wired to terminals 1-4.
The solenoid is connected to terminals 2-4.
The lamp is connected to terminals 1-2.
An insulated section and 2 lockons are needed to operate the Semaphore properly.

Great help. I found the restoration was done well but the wires were not soldered to the correct posts as you've described. Chattering solenoid was the result and no heat going to bimetal switch. thank you!
After further investigation I see the heater element is connected to terminals 1&4 not 1&3? where should the two solenoid wires be attached?
