I picked up a real nice AF 914 log dumping flat car and controller button. I'm assuming that there should also be some kind of track activator to wire the button to. Can someone post a pic of this part so that I'll know what to look for?

There are 2 basic types, the early one which has a wire nut attachment for the wire connection and the later model which has a fahnstock connection. I'll try to get pics tomorrow.

The 20BW is an American Flyer transformer.

To the best of my knowledge the 20BW was never put into production. There might be a factory preproduction sample. If so it would sell at a high price. 19B’s are great transformer, easy to find.

I saw the factory sample of the transformer with the horn button at Flyer Nut night at York a couple of years ago. It was never produced.
John, If you go to York you need to go the Relience Fire station at 8 PM on Thursday before the show. It has great things to see about Gilbert Flyer items. During the pre show days and during the show lots of Flyer is sold there.

Yes, I've been to that Firehouse show a number of times and always admired the quality of the AF trains there. I did buy some for my new Flyer collection there in October and will e back there in April.
As to Thursday evening, I'll need to coordinate with my traveling partners, so that would be up in the air

I actually did an article for the S Gaugian for that transformer and have a picture. First part of the article and then the photo.

Now that I have explained the essence of the “Flyer Nut” gathering let me tell you about two of the fascinating things that appeared last April. A couple from Connecticut brought several items that were purchased at an auction where AC Gilbert’s factory examples and proposed products were placed on the block. Heidi and John Tench were the last presenters of the evening. Heidi’s father had attended the auction and brought home a number of goodies that were still in the family’s possession after her father passed away. They verified the items from the auction by connecting with noted Flyer expert Dan Olson, who was also at that auction.
What Heidi and John brought was just amazing. One was a metal case transformer with the shape of a 19B that had the horn button wired and built into the transformer. How wonderful would that been?

The other item on the table is a spotlight unit that had a motor in the base so it would rotate. It was never made either.
