Seems that the original ore car was made for the kickapoo express and then later made for two flat cars nyc /pennsy ........I knew I 'd seen this varmint some-a-where before!!!

I have one of those DC-only 0-4-0's, a Santa Fe I think. I came across it a couple years ago and hadn't seen it for so long that I'd forgotten it wa DC-only. Put it on the track and turned up the transformer... It did a back-and-forth dance and never ran again. Oops.
