Looking forward to attending York for my third time!!!!
Wooohooo!!!!
I'm in!
Peter
It's not even the York Equinox (the day that is halfway between meets) yet...
As usual I'll be there. Not much on my lists anymore but with a new project coming up that may change.
I won't be there but 18 days until the Amherst show at the Big E. @eddie g you going?
I'll be there. Hotel is booked for April and October. My first meet was Oct. 2015, this will be number #11.

Pack,drive,toy trains,food,adult beverage,more trains,donuts, rollercoasters,drive home.
Just paid my TCA National dues for 2023. Now to go online and pay York registration. Went up to $18 plus the online fee.
Still worth 2 or 3 days of enter trainment!
York is still a fair deal at $18 for 3 days and free parking.
The Amherst Model Railroad show in West Springfield, MA is $15 per day + $5 parking fee each day!
Yes, there's the TCA dues. I made those lower by doing the 5 year digital/paperless plan for $190. ($38 per year)
Just ordered my Badge.........usually do it before I leave on Sat......however, this past York I was so caught up in the Modular Display that I didn't remember.....
Peter
I start thinking about the next York on the drive home from York...
Seriously, I couldn't begin to put a price on the amount of enjoyment I get from York and all the fellowship I have found there.
Andy
Registration booklets are on the way.

I'm all set!
About 3-4 weeks before the opening bell, I'll announce the biannual breakfast.
Peter
Peter, I will make a copy of your badge, and use it to get into the York show(meet) THANKS
If you are going to be in York all week, the place to stay is the Wyndham Garden Inn.
Registered last week for my first York. Air and hotel booked too. Spend time daily trying to plan each day, but I know it will all go out the window once I step through the hall doors.

Another suggestion is to read comments on the forum regarding places to stay. Hopefully, your hotel reservation can be changed if you find a better option. @eddie g is right about the Wyndham; it's a great location, full of train folks, with a decent on-site restaurant/bar, but it can be pricey.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I am pretty much locked into a Marriott brand hotel, as I have points to stay for free, thanks to business travels. 😁 Currently planning to stay at Four Points. The more I save on accommodations, the more I have to spend on trains!!!

That's a good choice, as is going with your preferred loyalty program.
There are a handful of places to avoid, and Four Points isn't one of them. It's also very convenient to the legendary Round the Clock diner.

Getting closer.

There's going to be a freak spring snow storm and you'll get stuck in NY trying to get there.
8 weeks away from opening day at York!!!!! I’m not counting or anything LoL! I’m super excited!!!
We're all set!! After a one Meet hiatus because of a wedding this past October we are BACK!! Lynley and I have our reservations for our flight, two hotels, and car rental for the York Meet and beyond.
We're flying into Philly this time instead of Baltimore since our post York Meet activities will be in the Philadelphia area. Going to visit with my youngest Daughter, as usual, but this will be a special trip. She is carrying our ninth Grandchild, a boy! Also going to get together with some family we haven't seen since we moved. It'll be a nearly two week long party!! Can't wait for all the trains and the food!! (It's always about the food!)
Look out, Dealers and sellers! Hope you have some juicy gems waiting!

Yes, it is all the all the buzz and very exciting! Looking forward to it!

Gary, What is the date of the Amherst show? I keep sending you emails and you don't respond so not sure I have the right address. Bill
My daughter and I have our tickets. Wanted to go to Allentown but had to work. Looking forward to going!
Keeping my fingers crossed, had gotten my ticket and hotel reservation, but now have some financial concerns with going, hopefully by April I can go. It is why I always get a refundable hotel room, you never know (the ticket price doesn't bother me, I figure even if I don't go, helps support EDTCA).
This will be my first time attending the TCA York train show. Do I need to be a member of the TVA to attend? If so what do I need to do to join?
will I be able to find much just attending Saturday or is it pretty picked over by then?
