There was a thread a while back asking if one had ever had trains given to them. Well, it happened to me today. A friend of my sister was emptying out the house where his mother lived after she passed and he was heading to Florida with a new wife (a lot happening for a 62 year old). He knew of my layout and asked if I would be interested. I am not sure how many things will make it on my layout, but it will be fun in a few years to build a layout for my 6 month old grandson. There is plenty of O27 track with switches which will just be right for him later on. Here is most, but not all of the items I picked up today:
