Just wanted to give a hearty kudos and thank you to forum member Chuck Sartor (former repair & parts guy of the late Mizell Trains & Hobbies in Westminster, CO) who know runs his own parts & repair business as 'O'nly 3 Rail.  I started a post prior to the holidays inquiring about the boom rigging cable string that Lionel used on their postwar 6828-100 Harnischfeger crane load for the 6828 flat car.   Those that contributed were very helpful, and Chuck chimed in and offered to send me a couple of yards of string that is identical to the original Lionel used.  When I received the string from him, he included a note saying it was at no charge, even though offline I offered to pay him for his efforts, however small and inconsequential this bit of string may be.

A great forum contributor, very helpful fellow and customer service beyond reproach.  My hat's off to you Chuck, and you'll always be up there on my top five list when it comes to finding postwar original & reproduction parts.

As an aside Chuck if you see this, I was actually in Westminster for about a week last August for an IT convention for my work, unfortunately I completely forgot that you were in that part of Colorado, otherwise I would have attempted to try to reach out to you while I was there.  I'll try to look you up if they do any of their future annual seminars in the Denver area.  By the way, the offer to pay you is still on the table!
