I would like to thank Ed Mullan for a great day at the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad and chasing the 734. Last night he emailed me and said he could meet me at the station this morning and show me all the great places to photograph the 734. He took me to the best spots as we chased her and talked trains. He is a great guy and I can not give him enough thanks for the day.

Had a good time, Jim. Had I known that the family car would be available sooner, I could have planned a bit better, as far as the time spent before the train came to
the station. Much to see railroad wise in Cumberland.

The bike trail affords a lot not available elsewhere. I managed this shot, one trip over the mountain. Once the train is past the #9 switch location, old C & P rails, Cumberland and Pennsylvania, on the steep grade to the Frostburg station, there is a bridge that crosses the trail.

Great shots Mike. I plan to take the kids there in a few years when they are a few years older and ride the train up and bike with them down!
