A couple of weeks ago I posted a tread about my new Lionel SP Sharknoses. Yesterday I received a set of Shasta Daylight coaches to go with them.
They look absolutely beautiful together, and so this morning I made a short video of them.

They really look great together!!

thank you. I was actually going to post a request for a video. I never liked Baldwin sharks that much, but in this scheme, on that train, they suddenly are hugely appealing to me.
Very nice Nicole - You've done a terrific job with the production too!
Yes, BUT, the orange color on the cars does not match the locos by 0.1% ....Just kidding of course. Looks really nice, great smoke. Cheers!
Very nice looking.
Very Nice! Thanks for posting.
Nicole, you've got a winner there. The engine and cars look great together. Thank you for posting video. Do the coaches have LED lighting? Lighting looks perfect.

Gotta love SP Daylight!!! I have a Daylight train I pull with Alco PA's of GS4.
Congrats!
Thank you for the good video. Although I never cared much for SP colors, those engines just look great, and the cars are beautiful as well.
Thanks everyone. I bought these engines mainly because of how lovely they look. Even if they are a 'fantasy' scheme. I had been thinking about getting some for a while, and then Charlie from Nassau Hobby mentioned in a post that he had found some Daylight sets in his warehouse That together with a great price on the Sharknoses from Charles Ro was the trigger to order a set of each. I'm really glad that I have done so.
Steve, the lights are incandescent bulbs, with LED lighting only in the tail of the observation car. I agree with you that the lighting is really good and very even. The interior detail is great too, especially inside the RPO car.
Very nice Nicole and like the sounds of the engine.
Great addition to your motive power.
The Southern Pacific was always my favorite western Railroad.
Nicole:
Super addition to your collection. The Daylight color scheme is one of the best in our hobby. Thanks for posting the video.

WOW! Very nice set. Recording really captures the sound; smoke is a nice addition for realism on A & B units.
