Guys/Gals, thank you.  I did not know how this would be received.  This is my way to honor all the great people who are/were  OGR.  Like I stated, to have them all under the same roof at one time was something special.  While at the OGR meeting I heard Myron mention the tire cover I knew exactly what it was.   When I am no longer around, Dotty has instructions to give it to OGR.  For now it will hang in my train room.  Hopefully it will be there for a while.

Dave, Alex can make anything.  He is my guy when it comes to building.

It's very well received! I think you have a real knack for knowing what needs to be done to keep all these memories alive! And also are very good at recognizing the proper time, place, item of memorabilia and everything else needed to make a great memory out of these things and events. Thanks for doing all this and also thanks for all you do for everyone else and the hobby too! You are an inspiration to the rest of us!

After the OGR grandstand meeting, I saw a flash of light and a trail of fire on the pavement going toward the orange hall...I just knew it was Marty!!!...LOL!!  Seriously, who better than Marty to own this piece of history.  Marty is a true ambassador to our beloved hobby and a dear friend...I am very proud to know that the OGR "frisbee" is hanging in the right place...where it belongs!

Somewhere in the house I have a picture of it on the OGR van.  It is fiberglass and was connected to a  ring that covered the rear tire.   Myron explained at the OGR meeting what it was.  Barbara stated they had this decorative cover on two OGR vans.  After 75 York shows, I purchased something that was not a train.

This is a fantastic thread, and Marty, I watched that 1991 Myron Biggar video of your layout and its always been one of my favorites, a WOW, and now that you have this new sign, wheel cover to hang in your layout area, I must hurry to your home to see your spectacular layout. Also, the recent video that Rich made was even Better....Another Wow....I plan retirement in March 2018. Then a long road trip to see many of the famous layouts in OGR Videos....Great Thread....Your Tennessee Connection...Leapin Larry
