Great shots! Did you get to ride behind 1630? So good that it's running again as I know it was down for a very long time.

I've only ever been to IRM once (in 2002) and it was closed the day I went. I hope to get back there again someday but I rarely ever get to the upper Midwest for anything...

Nice!  Childhood memories of riding in the North Shore car at the Ohio Railroad Museum in Worthington, Oh.  On the line just south of Rt 161, the car would briefly hit 50-60mph.  On a nice day with the windows open, it was a great ride!  Just like flying.  Here is a photos of car in the glory days. Today, sad to say, I believe it is hulk under a tarp.

Chicago North Shore and Milwaukee Railroad interurban 154. It was built by the J.G. Brill Co. in 1915.
