Great pictures! Hopefully someday soon I'll be able to visit that wonderful layout, and meet many of you guys in train wonderland.

May I make a suggestion:

It would really be nice for those of us who know very few members of the forum, and none from the east side, if names were added to the pictures of members; just the first name or forum handle would be sufficient. It is nice to be able to envision a face when we read a post, ask or answer a question.

Thanks for posting!

Alex
Next year I'm not taking many train pix, I'll shoot more people pix. It's more fun to see everybody having a good time together. I really makes it nice to see all those famous "handles" from the Forum together laughing, eating, drinking, BS'ing and playing with trains.

Hopefully with the new high tech Forum coming Feb 1st, I'll be able to plaster Pix up with best by then.

Again, a great time, see you all in A'town.

Unfortunately my pic's didn't come out so good, I don't know why.
Or if someone shot some video that would be even better. Mine didn't come out so good either.
Thanks Brad

It took getting off my duff and re-learning to dink around with Ulead VideoStudio again, but here's the clip as promised:

Ben,

Thanks for the good wishes and sorry for even thinking you're a Giants fan. I remember that you're a Green fan for something besides the Eagle's shade. Wink

The setback was a temporary thing but considering my past 'luck', the Doctor wanted me close by in case the medicine he gave me Friday didn't work by Saturday which meant that I would have been in the hospital Sunday. But I watched all 4 games in the comfy surroundings of my living room.

I can vouch for that, Ben! LOL.

I'm glad everyone enjoyed them. Next time, I have to consider making one in the form of an actual locomotive. I have done one before, but not one that can feed 300 people. Perhaps that's something we can consider for next year. Wouldn't you say, guys?

John T.

Maybe you can make one like this:

The cake was chocolate! Smile

Would you believe that a GG-1 was the cake I made? LOL

No relation to this one, BTW.

It was a vanilla cake with chocolate icing, and the whole cake was shaped like a GG-1. The guys I brought to had no problem devouring it.

Trainstock each year is something to look forward to.

I don't know Ted but for the way its been going I think we should stop inviting those Patriot & Dolphin fans. I like the Eagle and Raven fans though

Ben,

I couldn't agree more with your train of thought.
