Hey Guys and Gals....

Just wanted to know how many of you may be attending the Ozarks Model Railroad Association fall train meet in Springfield, Mo. on the 22nd of September?  www.omraspringfield.org which is TOMORROW!!!

This is a large meet with over 100 tables and sometimes several hundred.  Every kind of train and scale is represented along with operating layouts, etc.  This is the largest train meet between Kansas City and St. Louis during the year so it is well worth attending.  Lots of folks there I bet you will recognize!  Sure would like to meet some of you!

Hey guys, this is a real good train meet if you are looking for train items. There will be over 100 vendors here & I think 4 to 5 layouts running. Also, Harvey, from Hollister will be there to help you with any repairs or questions that you might have on your trains, regardless of your scale.

Come and meet all of us good ole boys from the Ozarks. See you there.

RadioRon...are you going???  I have tried your suggestion in the past and it seems that sometimes a title that brings some curiosity,....like what is he talking about??....gets more viewers.  I suspect that if I had in the title what you recommend, I would get no better response and perhaps worse as many folks wouldn't open the thread and read the details at all....  Just my take, doesn't mean I am correct.

Thanks,

Alan

Alan,

Won't be able to make it this time. A couple of days ago we drove to North Platte, NE where we are now, for Railfest 2012 (Bailey Yard, Golden Spike Tower and much more) and will be driving on to Cheyenne this afternoon (more trains!), which will make a total of about 2,000 total miles, so we will be sort of ‘tripped out’ for a while.

Alex
