A glimpse at Trainstock 8 today

Another great day at "Trainstock."  My grandchildren were thrilled once again to see all the trains running.  The food, oh the food, you have to search to find a restaurant with food that good.  As if the trains and food were not enough, the NJHR members are a cut above with hospitality and then you have all the good folks from the forum to meet in person and chat with.

When my 5 year old granddaughter was leaving with her Dad and little brother she she hugged me and said,"thank you for bringing us here."  We'll all be back next year for sure. (pictures later)

Thanks for the cool video. I wish I could have been there. This was the first time I missed this event.

Thank you to our Highrailer family for a great day with a great RR and great people, you are great ambassadors for the hobby!!! And attendance was a little down due to weather surrounding the area. One again THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I see my test run with the Aerotrain, after seeing that the WiFi worked on my phone and I could control it, I put the other eight cars on, it looked a bit more impressive.

The attendance did look to be a little down.  Between work and the weather that blew it for me this year. Hope everyone had fun.

Looks like everyone had a great time. Great layout and I'm glad I got to see it last year during the TCA Convention.Since I was born in NJ I know I will be back.

Really enjoyed today's festivities at Trainstock and hope to make it again next year.

Awesome pics...the layout looks even better than when I was there during the TCA Convention this summer.

The layout is looking great as always. Disappointed that prior plans prevented my attendance but good to see the nice videos and of the folks having fun. Hope to visit   next year, the good Lord willing!

This has been the first one that I attended and I had a great time.

Thank you NJ Hi Railers for hosting another great Trainstock. Trains, friendship & great spread of food. Doesn't get any better then that.

Train guys who live within traveling distance of this event and don't do it are missing the greatest operating layout on the East coast !    Anyone with any scale layout can be inspired and learn from this spectacular operation.     The N.J.Hi-Railers are the BEST !!   Thank you all for a great day.

HCLARKE (Harold) flew in from Dallas, Texas to join us for Trainstock 8.  Although the pictures are great, they don't express the whole experience.  As much as the layout is over the top, the friendliness of the club members, as well as the forum members, not to mention great food and service, made this event a great day.

so glad I made the trip. great hospitality....very good food and as a high compliment there is an old Chicago saying "they really put on the feed bag"!

all the hi railers made us feel at home, and took time to run accessories for everyone many times; and were very gracious.  the hats were very  nice and one found its' way home to my house....and probably will not be the last....you hi railers made an excellent saturday for many.......much thanks

A big "Thank You" to all of the New Jersey Hi-Railers membership for another fabulous Trainstock event!  The layout never ceases to amaze and the hosts are even better.  The hat and shirt I got are so cool!

I've been fortunate enough to attend all eight Trainstocks.  I always see something different, even in places I've looked at or photographed before.  It's always so much fun watching the trains and even more fun to visit with the Hi-Railers and OGR Forum members!
