I use this product for cleaning my track: go to an automotive section and get 'Interior Detail' cleaner, spray some on a cloth and wipe. Works very well with no residue. I happen to have the STP brand, but any detail cleaner would work.

Bonus: take an old cardboard style, like the Christmas Tree air freshner(when it is exhausted), and put a few drops(or a lot) of you favorite smoke fluid scent on and you could have a nice smelling air freshner.

Given the fact that the MSDS doesn't actually list the ingredients, no way I'd put this on my track!  You may remember another "harmless" cleaner that didn't quite live up to the hype!  I'm personally not interested in finding out the hard way this one isn't good for my recently laid track or very expensive collection of 30 odd Ross switches!

I've stopped using Simple Green on Fastrack

Simple Green DOES hurt locos
