Seems like I forgot a way to get water to the engines in the service area in diesel town. I never intended this to happen.....

Joe,
I think you're gonna need a bigger water tower
Werll at least Hotwater can help you figure this out
How about a stand pipe?

Yeap!

Seriously Joe, I recall seeing that Allegheny you had Joe F. 2 rail back a couple years ago, but never mention of others.

Hey, that's my line!
Well let's see. The Allegheny 1 (MTH) that Joe F did in 2 rail, the new Allegheny 2 (MTH) I just found already in two rail, the Allegheny 3 (3rd Rail) that's still three rail, the front M2 Pennsy is 3rail 3RD Rail!
There's also a Pacific two rail MTH, and two three rail MTH railking's thrown in.
One of them, G just fixed for me. It's three rail and I bought it for the grandkids. While it's here in safe harbor, I noticed it has a DCC switch on the bottom.......WHY?
How many guys are running three rail DCC I wonder? Do they know there's a switch on these inexpensive engines??
The other Patriots one, became a donor after they beat us in the playoffs a few years back. Funny, now it says it's an Allegheny at station stops. I keep it for the day I can do an Adam's family moment on it whenever my brother comes back to town. We used to watch that show a lot back in the day.

Looks like I need to get back to study the books on this one.... I think I've seen them?
Hey Joe….. it looks like a water spout off a wooden railroad water tank only it's on a column and swings out of the way, fed by underground pipes. MTH made one and there are O scale ones also.
Oh sure, you know the big metal thingy sticking out of the ground...
Then it will be coaling towers and...... I feel the diesel in you diminishing...
Hmm, I'm getting emails and I unchecked the follow box?
I think I've seen those pipes on guy's layouts. I should have paid better attention. I didn't think I'd be needing them.
Yeah, I was trying to poke a little fun into it...figured I might get his attention. That can be tough, but I always learn something.

I was so taken in by this picture that I missed your closing line 'til now.
I couldn't pass up this last deal on another Allegheny. I never ever thought I'd have three.
Diesels are my thing. So don't play with me losing my focus momentarily just because I want them all! Whooo Whooo.
I really need a support group. It's getting bad. I even think I have way too much.
I know what you mean...they multiply rapidly. Now those Allegheny's are very nice so no need for shame... I must admit I have a few diesels and I am a steam guy but hey...who doesn't like a few Geeps and a SD-40....and a few of the NS heritage units and....errrrr. Guess I'll see you at the meeting.... Maybe we can get a group rate.
I didn't realize how tall and large some of the stand pipes were! Is the MTH model of one the correct size? I thought it was too large but now I am not sure....???
