Love the sound of old tinplate on a monday evening...
Andy,
Thanks for posting; this brought back fond memories.
My late brother, Jim, was an avid pre-war Marx collector and standards committee member for Marx trains for TTOS in California. Your layout looks just like the one he had and took to meets/shows. Really nice.
Thanks.

looks great Andy, love the marx tinplate.
Sweet set up, Andy. Nice job with the video!
I love it! More inspiration for me to get going and make a layout just for my Marx and other tinplate!
Nice job on the video and the layout.
I agree, nice job. I'm in process of building a small Marx layout with a western theme. Using the Wells Fargo set with train, and he 2 story Western towns, including the jail side town. Will be using the Marx plastic rocks, mine entrance, etc. Everything will be Marx trains, and playsets.
Great video
Enjoyed the video. Neat little layout.
Thanks Andy.
Great video! You are a real artist with the buildings and the layout, very inspiring. I've had a Marx 400 since about 1959/60 but it's been packed away in the attic since about 62 when we got HO Aurura T-Jet slotcars which took center stage until about 68. I brought the train down and read up on tuneups so that I'd be able to share the Marx with the grand kids which are 2 and 3. My train was great and jumped back into action at will but I always liked the 666 my older brother has and bought one on Ebay. It also cleaned up well and sprung to life after a good clean and oil tuneup. The 666 came with a tender, caboose and 3 cars which were all fine. This has turned into a real pleasure as I love fixing things and these are so well made. I'm short on track now with only a small oval with 3 straights on each side. Thanks again for posting the video!
Looks great, thank you for posting it.

Loverly layout. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Question: what is the quonset hut in the left lower corner... and where can I get two like it?
