I wanted to post this before I lost my train of thought...
Whoever left this outside to rust probably had a crazy reason for doing it.
You know, a loco motive...

Hmm, maybe we could get her all polished up if we tried real hard. Old rusty would become super shiny. Nice pic Rich.

😂
Rich I think you're suffering from too many years of breathing coal dust.......
now....what are the details of that steamer?
Rich, it sounds like all the miles behind the wheel of the RV are making you a bit punchy.
Well....??
it did make me smile.
Did SIRT do the weathering on this one?
Don't quit your day job.
Poor thing is so rusty it can't even sit down.
Probably because it has a tender behind...

Good one! Well, like the rest of us old fogies, it still looks reasonably vertical..... Plumb loco?
The railway had a safety problem, but tried to cover its tracks.
Must be the Super full moon, or the Blue moon, or the lunar eclipse tonight. LOL
So is this no longer Live Steam? Does that make it Memorex?
Rich,
Ah man that is so sad, a once fantastic piece of RR Engineering left to rust into pieces.

I have absolutely no idea. Got the image and the copy from my co-pilot on a Key West flight yesterday.

LOL! I haven't driven the motor home anywhere for a couple of months. Been too busy in the new Columbus OGR Raw Nerve Center to go anywhere!
Very hard to make out what it is other than two lead wheels and ten drive wheels. Too hard to see in the back.
Great post Rich. If you got on a Key West flight the FEC left in the Keys after the great hurricane that wiped out the 7 mile bridge back in '26 along Thyme ago . Thats my story and I am sticking to it! At least it looks like a product of the Keys. Maybe that is part of the problem not enough miles in the motor home. Gotta love the humor in this post .
Air traffic control routed us right down the keys on this flight. Usually we go out over the Gulf and approach Key West from the west. Not today.
This was my view of the Keys out the front window of the King Air. That main road you see is US Route 1, the former FEC right-of-way.
Someone left the train out in the rain and I don't know if I can save it took to long to make and I dont have the recipe again , OH noooooo...
Looks like a Chinese engine that fell overboard on the way over.
