Good morning everyone,

I had asked Patrick to give us a ride around his awesome layout, and he did just that. There's so many fellow forum member's that have beautiful layout's, I would be here all day trying to list them. I'm posting this here because this is such an awesome ride, and I wanted as many forum member's to see it as possible. So I hope you all enjoy.

Thanks for looking, Alex

Hi guys, thanks for all the great comments, that's why I felt it should be posted here.

I can answer some questions (I think) but if I'm incorrect Patrick will have to correct me.

UnclePeteRR  some shots are from the camera mounted to a train car and I'm pretty sure Patrick was angling the camera by turning it the way he wanted.

C.Sam That engine to my knowledge doesn't come with the work lights, I think Patrick added them. The only engine I remember coming with those work lights was the Challenger and I think the Dreyfuss Huson(please correct me if I'm wrong)

Hi Eddie,

Yes this layout is in Patrick H basement, I never saw it in person YET. But someday I will. Patrick will have to deal with my wife and I coming over for the weekend. LOL LOL

I'm not sure of the size of the layout but I know it's really big. Patrick will have to answer that.

Thanks, Alex

Wow!  Patrick, thanks for making a video showing your whole layout!  I've seen clips and photos, but this gives a feel for the size of the layout.  Thanks for posting Alex.

When I started the video and the timer showed 25 minutes, I was thinking uh, ain't gonna happen, next thing I know there's the text saying we've been riding for 15 minutes, felt like a couple minutes.  Time flies when you're having fun!

I am glad you liked the video guys, not bad for 2 days goofing off. . I didnt realize some of you dont visit the Layout and design  forum where you can find all of the answers you asked. So i am a little embarassed Alex posted another thread, but its Ok with me if someof you enjoyed it and never seen it.

Thanks Jeff,

I edited out about 9 min of tunnel so not toget to boring .Usually about 28-30 minutes up and around then to the Y before having to use the same track again. The other main is about 8-10 minutes less. Of course if you run slower or faster that will vary. Thanks again!

CSam:

The J is modified , the smoke unit has a hole in it and the light at the back of the  drivers i drilled out and installed leds, spectacular at night.

The link below my name will take you to the OGR Layout and design forum. Thanks again.

Doc your reply is at the other thread ! Thanks!!

My good friend Patrick H there's no need to feel embarrassed, what you have accomplished with this layout needs to be seen by everyone. That's what this forum is all about. Your layout is what I call a work of art, It's one of the best basement layout's I've ever seen. It deserves to be on this forum. Now enough with the mushy stuff, I have now watched your video 8 times. LOL LOL

Thanks, Alex

Patrick H,

Your video is fantastic, but seeing it live and being able to run your trains

is even better, thanks for letting me visit.  Your layout is simply incredible!

Never Never Land really does exist, it's located in Patrick H's beautiful home.

If you are lucky enough to be invited, make the Trip to the Never Never land of Trains.  Just maybe Patrick H will let you run his trains.

PCRR/Dave
