Also of note is that green 4-4-0 is the William Mason, built in 1856 and the oldest operable steam locomotive in the western hemisphere...although it is temporarily out of service for its 1472 inspection. The museum offered a rare opportunity to let visitors have (nearly) free reign of their shop last fall during their annual steam weekend which offered folks to see the projects they are working on. Usually shop tours are conducted behind a glass booth.

The very rare 2-2-0T switcher too!!! I have a 0-8-0 Winans camelback offered a few years ago....the 4-6-0 is cool too.
