This is something a little different that ties into our hobby and love of trains. I am also a Mason. I belong to a lodge in Ohio as well as a Lodge in Garner, NC. Well this Saturday, the Spencer lodge will hold it's first RR degree. It starts off with a dinner and then a train ride to the roundhouse at the NC Transportation museum in Spencer.. Talk about the best of both worlds. I have made many trips to the Transportation Museum to see the 611, the Lincoln Funeral Train and when they used to have Railroad Days. The lodge is also have T-shirts made up and of course I ordered two of them. I cannot wait until Saturday. The only thing that could be better is a new train for the layout.
