Frank, your photos are always well composed and in focus. Good use of depth of field. Something we should all strive for when we take our own. Thanks. Ted

You deserved them and many more, Frank.
it's always nice to be recognized, but when the effort is as good as yours, it's oh so easy to click that option in the bottom left corner!
That's a really nice tower. Love the weathering as well, which I think you nailed it perfectly.
My additional Thanks, for "Replies" to:
RSJB18: Your saying "Great looking everything," Bob, was a really cool thing to read. I am amazed and gratified. Thank you!
TedW: I much appreciate your commenting on the clarity and focus of the photos. That's very nice to hear .
p51: Your cheerful approval is very nice and, frankly, fun to receive. Also, I am glad you like the weathering on the coaling structure. I wasn't sure I would be right about what I tried with it, in the end, but I am glad I took a chance, by following my instincts and memories.
Gandydancer: Your continued approval is very enjoyable to receive. Thanks again!
Mark Boyce: You so often have something pleasant to say, I am glad for it every time you do. Thanks again!
Thank you for taking the time and effort to comment, guys!

P51, How do you resist filling that space, on the left, from the clipboard forward to the turntable, with platform? That would give you a whole lot more mini-acres of mini-real-estate to apply your artistic skills to, and it would afford us a whole lot more excellent craftsmanship and historic details to drool over and admire!

It's easy, Frank. If you look very carefully along the extreme lower left edge of the photo, you might see that there's a bookcase there. There are two, side-by-side, with a portion of my massive reference book collection (two shelves of RR books and another of signed books or publisher proofs that authors have given me, the rest are art-related, space exploration-related but mostly military books).
There'd be no way to get to them without the room to do so there. The book cases predate the layout by several years, and they're not going anywhere, so I moved them adjacent to the door to maximize the space. It also comes in very handy for me to stand there during op sessions to be able to assist but not get in anyone's way.
nice garage scene....

This is a nice piece of 60s sitcom nostalgia. And the name of the station was?
Hooterville of course!
... which makes the MTH Rail King Train Depot all the more interesting
I wonder if there are other similar buildings or scenery based on TV shows?

Brian, you really find some interesting photographs! I never saw one like that before! I like them all.
Alright, I've been so negligent on this. Excellent photographs everyone!

Brian, That's great! Reminds me of when the riggers moved a huge power transformer off the rail car on the RF&P and onto their low boy to go up a hill to the pad when I worked there in the '80s

WOW!!! Hauling a real "road engine"
TEDW, nice pictures, i really like this one.....
Pics for today, upgraded Meg's Penn Flyer with some pullman coaches. Put leds in the end as there were none. Came with some billboards and a nice little station platform. Will try to light the platform, anybody successfully put lights on those plastic billboards?
Coalwood station looks great!!
Yes it does!
Indeed. I love that depot. Great that there's a chalkboard train schedule on it, too. That's something that rarely gets put on models of depots
