Drive home from Duluth to upper Michigan today, snowing like a bugger. Nasty near ironwood.

I remember driving in the snow. Happy that it's just a memory.

I live between Marquette and Houghton. South of lanse in a little jerkwater town called Covington. Not much here but the VFW club. Which I used to put quite a bit of time into. Now I drink my Busch light at the camp! Had to go to Duluth to get a drive shaft for one of our Caterpillar loaders. Still snowing like a bugger here at home. (3 a.m.) I used to drive alot of truck. lowboys, log trucks, etc. I don't miss it. Now we only run seasonal dump trucks. We build and maintain logging roads with heavy equipment in the winter. But at least I'm not in a semi on winter roads anymore. Military Hill near ontonagon was always a peach at 2a.m. In a snowstorm with 50 tons on my back.
