Oh my gosh.  Tired of the everyday run-of-the-mill hum-drum dol-drums, decided to do something different.

Picture this: an O-gauge oval, set up on the concrete basement floor, consisting of Menard's O36 curved track and 3 = 30" straights on each side.  A Lionel 0-6-0 train set Bethlehem Steel saddle tanker, with sounds and smoke shut off, pulling a black Menard's single-dome UTLX tank car, an orange Menard's Milwaukee Road gondola, a green Menard's 40' flat car with military half-track, a silver post war Sunoco 2-dome tank car, and a red Lionel post war 2257 SP caboose.   Powered by some unknown cheap little Lionel train set transformer.  No whistle, no horn.  Just a knob for throttle.  What an eclectic conglomeration of a train set, heh???

Ticking off laps and sounding like a gentle fall rain.  TV on in the background, while drinking some adult beverages.  Can it get any more relaxing than this?  I dunno,  I'd be hard pressed to find something better.

Hope your evening is just as relaxing with the crisp, fall weather starting to move in.
