A Special Thank You ToledoEd...

...and a Red White and Blue Salute to all the men and women in uniform, the civilians who also have served their country in peacetime and during war, and those who gave the ultiment sacrifice defending Freedom, with their lives.

America has come a long way since July 4, 1776.  Tragically, in 2020, we find ourselves a nation divided.  It is time to mend differences and join hands, one and all, to remember that We the People can and must bury our differences once and for all and do everything humanly possible in order to build a Better America for our children and their children's children's future.  As responsible citizens and parents we owe them this!

Please stop and remember the words of the late great John F. Kennedy when he said, "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what YOU can do for your country."  It begins right in your own home with the love each one of you show towards your family.  Spread this love to your neighbors and fellow model railroaders and everyone else at home and the world over to acheive peace once and for all for all decent men and women regardless of race, color, creed, religion, or nationality.

The video presentation with patriotic tunes doesn't stop here.  Please visit YouTube and listen and watch as the late great Kate Smith sings her version of God Bless America recoded during WWII.  You might also like to do the same as The Village People sing Go West and In the Navy as well as Jay and the Americans version of Only in America.

There are many more of course, including the late George Hamilton IV as he sings Canadian Pacific for our friends across the border to the north.  Railroaders aren't forgotten either with his version of "Life's Railway to Heaven."

May peace and good will be with all 1:1 scale railroaders, as well as model railroaders, active or armchair, we're proud to be part of The World's Greatest Hobby.

Godspeed

Joe
