During this past Christmas season, we hosted an open house any many who attended were first time visitors to our home. Most who attended asked to see the train layout including a special couple. The wife we have come to know very well through a mutual organization, but it was the first time we had the pleasure to meet her husband. This gentleman was very complimentary of our layout and he appeared to have a fun time that evening.
Just before Christmas at an organizational meeting, the wife handed me a wrapped Christmas gift from her husband. She said I could open it then, but I said no, if it is a Christmas present, it goes under the tree. To my surprise Christmas morning, I opened this beautiful original artwork done by a local artist. The card said that I of anyone he knew would enjoy this gift. He was certainly correct! Id say it is a spectacular gift.
