EDIT: I have reloaded the pictures since people say they can't see them. Funny thing is, they display for me on both my prowsers. But this website has been weird with displaying photos and videos for about a week.

When I posted about the new WBB 44-ton diesel switcher and how I re-wired the motors in series to make it less prone to jackrabbiting, I noticed and posted a photo of a bad center roller on my new toy.
Bachmann read the post, and, unsolicited, contacted me by e-mail, offering a new replacement.
It arrived yesterday, along with a nice note from Larry Harrington, General Manager of Product Development at Bachmann. Here it is:
Along with the roller, Mr. Harrington threw in a new EZ-Street sedan chassis. He certainly did not need to do that, but it was much appreciated. WHAT IMPRESSED ME MOST WAS THAT HE SENT ONLY THE CHASSIS. He knew enough to connect the dots and realize that all I would do with a whole sedan is remove the body and toss it aside so I could use only the chassis anyway, on a diecast conversion . . . It's clear to me: he reads and remembers what' s said on this forum. Nice.
I'm thinking an EZ-Streets Chrysler Airflow would be cool. It will mean a lot of grinding away on the sides of the chassis: as Ii say in my bashing book, cars with running boards present a real challenge for the metal sedan chassis because they are too narrow. But it can be done. It won't be an immeidatley project - several others ahead of it, but I'll post pictures when its done.
And again, thank you Larry Harrington and Bachmann!
