A tinplate what is it

Been looking at Ives and some parts seem to match them, but all of the Ives cars have words on the sides.

This looks like an A.S. for Adolf (or Adolph) Schuhmann coach; I have a similar coach but with another lithography:

My coach also has no marking but the matching restaurant car has the marking A and S.

      Thanks for the info. Mine does not have any markings on the end or benches inside.

The trademark is an A and an S like this:

But they are known as Schuhmann trains and not as AS trains. Firma Adolph Schuhmann of Nuremberg, Germany was founded in 1907. They produced among other things steel construction boxes they sold under the trademark "Combinator" . 1939 the company with the tools was taken over by the company Beckh.

AS is a more recent (1980ties) French manufacturer of tinplate trains.
