Can anyone recommend a person who does accessory restoration? Accessories in question are Lionel post-war, late 1940s to early 1950s. Thank you in advance.
Local train store was not of any help. I know that the fellow who writes in CTT, Joe Mania, restores accessories but I am curious as to what experiences people have had with him or anyone else who could be recommended.
Have you tried the Toy Exchange in Wheaton? They are an authorized Lionel repair station and do out of warranty work. They have done several jobs for me and are conscientious and fast!
