Hello Everyone! I just picked up this unusual, marvelous passenger station manufactured by ACE Trains.

Does anyone know what year they produced these?,or how many were made? As I understand it,Ace Trains is a maker of High End O Gauge Trains in England.(Hence the look of the station I found!)

If anyone knows more about this company or this station, any info would be highly appreciated.I just thought it was so unique,I had to buy it. I think it would look great on Any layout!-Kenny

Kenny,

They are great looking train sheds(canopies).  They were actually manufactured for Ace Trains(I believe out of business) by Darstaedt(still in business-they have a website) and were sold through Weaver Trains here in the states.  I believe this was maybe 7-10 years ago(not sure on this).  I had been looking for a couple of these myself some time ago and quit looking as they don't come up for sale that often

I didn't realize that Ace Trains was still in business.   I remember some type of legal battle between Ace and Darstaedt,  but never really followed it.  I had emailed Darstaedt some time back about possibly doing another run of the passenger canopies,  and they indicated that they were not planning  to do so but that nothing was impossible.  Anyway,  thanks for the Ace information.
