If it looks good I would just leave it.  Clearcoat would not help it hold tighter to the surface under it and if its shiny and adhering well, I would not take a chance.  

 

Before I clearcoated it, I would do a test on something cheap that the clearcoat worked well on the acrylic, with no problems.  I've had clearcoat go bad on me or wrinkle the paint underneath before, even when its advertised as not doing that.
