Al,

I do not believe this is possible, the DZ is low voltage engineering and the old 072/711 switches take a great deal of voltage to operate due to their engineering design.  If you can find somebody to make this engineering possible please let me know.  Bob what you want is the new Supers Snap switches made from the old K-Line engineering design, I believe RMT now owns the rights to this engineering, and is producing the low voltage SS RMT Switches.  These K-line low voltage Super Snap switch were some of the best ever made, my understanding is Lionel sold them to RMT

because they were engineering the new FasTrack Command Control switches at the time.

I don't know what the old switches take for voltage, but the DZ-1000 instructions list 12-20 VAC as operating voltage. I have one that is still connected to a PH-180 brick (18 VAC track power) and is working fine. Now the linkage on the older switches to the DZ-1000's may be a different story, don't know how that is connected either?
