I tried every search function for my older thread on changing crew figures on Lionel steam engines, with no luck. Anyway, I was able to remove the cabs on the scale Berkshires fairly easily - not so on the Legacy Atlantic - does anyone know how the cab comes off - does the entire super-structure come off (I recall Alex and John said to use caution for the latter due to electronics crammed inside - so am hoping someone knows how to remove just the cab to get to the figures.
Here's a couple of before and after shots of the Berkshire - picture quality is not the best - am trying to learn my new camera. Arttista figures are the best IMHO - he makes several engineer and fireman figures in various poses and colors.
The ones with whistle smoke are crammed to the gills, there is NO room for anything in there! The wiring is very tricky to adjust so the shell will go back on without killing something. I cringe whenever I see one of these come in for repair!
