I have a set due to arrive tomorrow. I read the manual from the MTH website for the engine and It looks like the smoke fluid is added to the stack opposite of the one with the piping detail. Is the main stack in front with a diverter to the rear stack? I would assume you would add the fluid to the stack nearest the smoke unit and not the other?
Also is it a good idea to run the ABA set by itself to break it in before pulling a long consist of cars and if so how long?

I just took my C&O MTH. A-B-A off the lay out tonight. I use the stack toward the front of the cab. The rear stack has a channel from the front stack. I found that I had to get the engines running about 35 to 40 scale mph to get them to smoke well. Mine won't smoke much until they get up to speed.

Thank you for the reply. The dual stack smoke, stainless steel side paint, and bright LED lights sold me on the MTH Santa Fe E8 rather the E6. Here are some videos for comparison.
