Has anyone added TMCC control to their Doodlebug? Thinking of doing this to mine, and what did you do for this in way of boards, etc. Thanks

The MTH Doodlebug has plenty of space for the ERR Cruise Commander and RailSounds Commander, so this should be a pretty easy conversion. If you don't plan on pulling cars with it, or at least more than one or two, you could probably use the Cruise Commander Lite that is selling for $50 MSRP right now with discounts available on top of that from various forum advertisers. The RailSounds Commander will cost around $80, and you'll have to change the speaker to an 8 ohm speaker.
But which sound boards would you use to get the correct sound? I've never looked at upgrading mine (As much as I would love to.) because I love the sounds so much.
You have a limited number of options, so I'd just pick one from the ERR selection that you like.
Hello all,
I was wondering if by any chance any of you members have the MTH Maryland & Pennsylvania Doodlebug and would be interested in selling it. I had it once upon a time in my collection but ran into hard times and had to sell off my collection, in fact, I had all of the MTH Ma & Pa items. I am now able to build my collection back up and this is one of the ones that I loved the most and cannot seem to find anywhere. Also, if you have any MTH Maryland & Pennsylvania items you are willing to sell, please contact me. Thank you very much.
Justin
I've thought of this mod, if I ever find a PRR one cheap, I'll probably do an upgrade. I have the B&M one, but since it has working PS/2, I kinda' hate to tear it apart, I like the sound set.

Do you have a video of it so we can hear the sounds? Any more info then old ERR sounds for the sound set you used? Mine is still waiting for an upgrade.
With a small engine the doodlebugs have, I wold venture a regular EMD GP soundset.
Actually now ERR has the gas engine soundset for doodlebugs.
"I wold venture a regularemd go soundset." What????
