I have Woodland Scenics grass mats that I want to attach to two and a half sheets of plywood. Local hobby store recommended going to Michael's and purchasing spray adhesive. I bought Krylon Spray Adhesive. Followed all directions, but mat didn't stick, created bubbles, and pulled right off. Any recommendations on what I should do or product I should use instead? Thanks ahead of time.

I don't think spray glue is a good choice for bonding the grass mat. It could work but you would have to lay down a very heavy coat. You would be better off using a contact cement in a can. Also the wood surface has to be sealed.
Woodland Scenics has a glue for their grass mats. Check out the instructions. Basically, it's a contact cement.

You can also use carpet tape, it has two sticky sides.

Did you spray both the plywood and the grass mat? I've found that when using spray adhesive, you need to coat both mating surfaces for it stick permanently.
VB, Mark is right I worked in A cabinet shop laminating cabinets and counter tops and you have to coat both surfaces. Be very careful when you put them together if they touch and are not lined up you wont get them apart. Choo Choo Kenny
Thanks for all of the replies and help gentlemen. In response, I did spray both surfaces and I can't locate Woodland Scenics glue at our few local hobby stores. I think I will try the carpet tape route. Again, thank all of you.
Contact cement is aggressive. Use caution when applied to thin styrene or other soft plastic, it can eat it away. IMO.

It's more fun to wander about, experiment, try square pegs in round holes, deviate from the norm, ....and seek help on the forum.
