the Hudson was a mainstay in the Flyer higher end locomotives. I would recommend that you purchase a #326 as this Loco has pulmor, Smoke and a whistle. I also like the early post war #322 with tender smoke and #320 without smoke as they are very quiet smooth running engines. However without pulmor they can pull only about 15 traditional flyer cars.
I saw a photo once of one that someone put black driver insulators on. They also added a few detail parts and repainted it. It was pretty nice for not being a modern "scale" model. I can't seem to find that photo on the web now. Has anyone else seen the one I'm talking about? I'd like to find it again.
