hi, I am in need of a #570 af prewar 3/16" valve guide, I have looked at hennings, and train tender and I don't see any,any help would be dandy

If I were looking for AF parts, I'd consult Port Lines Hobby Supply. Portlines.com.
They will likely know the s gauge equivalent part. I'm pretty sure Gilbert made an s gauge Hudson with the same casting.

Terry they are the same as the ones on an early 322. They are just two square bars coming out the back of the steam chest. Here is a junky 531 Hudson for comparison as well. EDIT: I just looked at my 1948 322 and it is designed to have a mounting tab at the back end for stability. I still think the early postwar 322, are the same as the prewar, ie, just two bars inserted into the cylinder block. Point is you may be able to use parts from an orphan 322.

I should have asked, how does it run? Those prewar 3/16ths engines I think suffer from the pest more than anything I've seen I think.
That parts is not available. You must rob one from a doner junker. They are very fragile, so do not squeeze them or try to straighten them.
