Affixing Axle Bearing On Truck

Please excuse my posting of this topic in different forums, but I really need the help.

The small black plastic axle bearing (part # 620-8616-339) for the trailing truck on the tender for my LC+ Jersey Central Pacific (6-84680) broke, and is now missing. The warranty for this locomotive has expired.

Last night, I ordered part #620-8616-339 from Lionel, which should arrive in a few days. What is the best way to attach that part (with wheel axle inserted therein ) to the trailing truck of the tender? If glue is used to attach it, what glue do you recommend? What other advice would you give me in making this repair?
