They're (Lionel Corporation-MTH 400E Red Comet) getting harder to get a hold of for sure, especially the 3.0's. I saw one of these in Milwaukee Train fest last year & just fell head over heals in love but I didn't have the courage to buy one. I'm gonna put it on the rails tomorrow & take'er for a spin. I have a little O gauge tin  and run it under the Christmas Tree but this is the first Standard gauge Loco I've purchased. The size of those things are really neat, well... there just BIG. And they need lots of real estate. I can see now what Tom Snyder saw in these.

Every grown-up little boy at heart should own one of these!
