I recently purchased 2 air whistles from Smitty's Toy Train Parts. They were:

610-2962-100 WHISTLE BOX AND DC MOTOR ASSEMBLY 12962 PASSENGER SERVICE TRAIN WHISTLE LIMITED

Question, what type of small digital board do I need to make them operate?
Lionel sells a small board for a similar whistle but it does not have the rectifiers on top.
Thanks,

Some time ago, I asked for help wiring in a digital whistle board I purchased from Brasseur Trains that had 5 wires on it. Previously, I'd received what I thought were the same digital boards but those had 4 wires and I knew exactly how to install them. They make great whistles for slantback tenders.

Everyone who responded indicated that a best solution was to call or contact Brasseur and ask.

When I did, Brasseur kindly told me that the chip was missing from the items they'd sent me. Within days, they sent me the right whistle boards and all is okay. This is a neat little whistle and the price is great.

I just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my call for help. I included a picture of the "inoperable" 691-AMDK-074 whistle board (K-Line, I think). You can clearly see where the missing chip should sit on the board.

Thanks!
