It's possible she's just making sure it isn't being delivered to your house. Perhaps she thought you may have made a change to 1:1 scale?
Scott, it seems to me that this is not a good time to bring Thomas home with you, even for aid and comfort

As the search for Thomas continues, more disturbing news has come to light.
The kidnappers, led by this unsavoury character....
.... appear to have been assisted by this trio of desperate diesels.
This CCTV image shows how they forced Thomas into a siding so that they could capture him and hand him over to the gang.
Since his escape attempt, Thomas has been badly beaten and abused by the gang.
And his friends are very worried that this has changed his character...
It is reported that he has taken to smoking cigars....
But even more worrying is this image of a disturbingly evil looking Thomas. 
Will Sodor ever recover from this terrible tale?

One search and rescue team is already on the move:
This team has rescued two kidnapped trains before* (one steam loco and one HST), so I trust they'll be capable of bringing Thomas back safe and sound. And if Thomas has defected, as might be indicated... well, they can still hold their own against him!
