I recently acquired a RISS trailer at a sale and it looks too small to be S scale. Did these also come in HO scale as well?

Gilbert made two HO piggyback flatcars that carried a single RISS trailer. The 33509 held the trailer in a bracket. The 33557 had a metal track for use with the 35790 Piggyback Unloader. You can see pictures of them at www.gilbertho.org.

Pleased to be able to help. When I get home tomorrow I will post a picture of a true 1/64th scale trailer alongside the Gilbert trailer.
Here are three picture comparing the AHL 1/64th trailer to the Gilbert/Lionel trailer. The length is not too bad, the height and width are way off.

Here is the S gauge flat car with the two trailers on it. They fill the length of the car.

I have that Unloader set in S gauge but not in HO. I was thinking the HO and S trailers were the same size but without the HO trailer I could not be certain.
