I am a O gauge collector but have acquired a box of S gauge that was with a Lionel collection I purchased. Included are 3 of what appears to be "almost ready to run" S gauge locomotives. These also appear to have never been removed from the boxes. Any information on these would be appreciated, I would also like to ask the question that no one seems to want to see and that is "do these have any value" Photos attached are just one of the 3. Thanks for our help, Bum.

You've got some nice items there; we should all be so lucky! 🙂
Not sure what the first thing is; freight car?
As far as the Geep 9: I bet you can get anywhere from $125-$200 on eBay; just a quick guess. I suspect there's not a whole lot of those still around, especially in that unbuilt condition.
Let's see what some other people say... good score! 👍

Thanks Mark. The first photo shows the parts that still have to be attached to the locomotive.

I knew someone who knows would be able to help you! 🙂
Sounds like my guess was a little on the low side. Nice model. 👍 I think you should keep it...😊

The AM GP9 is still available in Pennsy:
Looks like model is a DC Scale version from the original run from 1988 or so. AM hasn't used the beige box in decades.
Given it's an older model and is still currently available, I would say it would sell for $100-$125. (I recently paid $95 each for two FP7's from the same era, and those were hard a to find road name.)

Thanks to all of you for the information. I have decided to sell the entire box of S gauge items that were with the Lionel collection and have posted it in the for sale or trade forum. If anyone has interest in them all of the photos can be seen there. Thanks again, Bum.
The package has been sold and again, thanks to those that helped me with these. Bum.
