American Standard kit cars

I have only built the American Standard gas electric kit (what else?) as a modified version, but have another of those gas electric kits to build.  I also have one or more of their RPO kits (don't think I have other passenger or freight cars of theirs) to build. 

Having built seven ASCC kits myself, I understand the work involved to produce a respectable model. Your efforts look to be outstanding!

These kits probably have the best sides ever available short of an injected plastic model such as GGD.  Next- best were the molded copper sides Exacta did so long ago.

It is important to say that these fine kits were intended as two rail scale cars.  Nothing wrong with converting them, but do not be surprised that changing trucks and couplers does not disqualify you at an O Scale convention.  We ignore the trucks, couplers, and track, and admire the fine model work.  Very nice.

Interesting that three rail trucks do not block you from submitting a model at an

O scale convention.  I expected structures would be welcome.
