Back somewhat to the topic's original subject, I vividly remember the 1989 Amtrak passenger set made by Lionel headed by the silver, red and blue GG1. Easily one of the nicest looking aluminum car sets Lionel made in the modern era, and aside from the dubious black colored trucks (almost every photo of Amtrak streamlined passenger cars I’ve seen had silver trucks) on the passenger cars, it does make a reasonably accurate representation of an Amtrak phase 1 GG1 consist.
