Although under refurbishment and at 40 years lold, Amtrak is looking for a replacement for the Amfleet 1 coaches.

I wonder if the new coaches will look like Viewliners? confused

NJT does use special bi-level coaches under the NEC wires? If so, more passengers per car.

The Brightline single level cars were built so to fit the NEC. Possibility. And CAF does NOT build them.

How about Amtrak LEASING new cars, based on mileage or passenger loads, and even have the leasing company maintain them?
