Just like the Veterans NPCU I had done a year ago, a Phase IV Heritage unit doesn’t currently exist.

So I decided to have Christine Braden paint one for me. The locomotive just went out for painting today, hope to see some progress soon. Will update when progress is made.

Christine is making good progress with 184. It’s been stripped, primed, and now has been partially painted grey. Platinum Mist is next, and decals after that.

I recently came to find out that MTH catalogued a production model. Such is my luck. As soon as I get close to finishing this, MTH catalogues a production model lol. Oh well. I guess it’s a lesson in patience.
