I am off this week....I drew New Years week duty. However, I got called into my office because a patient who was moving left me a box of his childhood trains....a truly wonderful gift.

The Magic of this Christmas just continues.....

I believe is is Lionel Set 1500, from 1953.

It includes extra track, an upgraded transformer, and a Marx crossing signal.

I also received an early present of sorts today.......I was working on my inventory and discovered that I have an MPC RDC service station set still in its unopened box.  I was delighted to find this item (discoveries like this are the reason I am doing the inventory) and I immediately opened the box.  I serviced the powered unit and my 5 year old grandson is enjoying running it for the first time.  The smile on his face is priceless!!

Nice train, notice the train cars in the back round, Is that the New Years party train?  Screwdriver express!!

Jim....I have a 30 car Tropicana train pulled by 2 RailKing E33s (Conrail and PennCentral). That train has a Vodka reefer, the gon with Vodka minatures and a flat with OJ tanks.....pulld by an MTH NYC GP-30....speed controll in SMPH makes a trailing train easy!
