Probably a typo.
If not, then it's just another person who thinks anything with the Lionel name on it must be worth more than its weight in gold.
Ironically the seller is anm bargains. Such a deal. It also includes a disclaimer that the item was found in an attic and NOT stored properly.

PLEASE do NOT bid $19,000 for a 1925 Lionel catalog, even if it is absolutely mint.
Love the generic timeframe in the text: "Stored between 50 and 140 years".
You'd think for a $19K opening bid they could state this particular catalog is 88 years old.

On most keyboards the zero is right next to the decimal point.
For $20 dollars I would rather have a reprint of the same thing.
I have mostly orginals but some are reprints in my collectoin.
when I find a good orignal one the reprint gets replaced.
SAY WHAT!!!! Hrumph, this item location speaks volumes!
The fact that the seller calls this the "multivolt transformers edition" indicates s/he has not a clue.
Starting bid is now $9.99,

Erie, not Eerie
ah, you mean Lionel...
i thought it was a little too early for The Blue Book from Tiffany's to be in the mail.
Well guys I got this catalog for $15.51 it went under my $20.00 bid.
now I have an orignal and not a reprint for my collection.
Thank to some Ron for posting this thread and the fact that price was droped to $9.99
I think This was a good buy.
Good work - congratulations, Harry!
