I have been working on my NEW 0-27 tubular track layout.   I went to the train store today and went to the tracks. I looked through the bin and found a lot of the NEW track are marked 'Made in Mexico' and the ties are stamped   LIONEL and  MFD/MEX.   Is this where any NEW tubular track is being made?     Is this where Menard's "O" track is made"?   Or is this NEW old stock?    The price was not too bad at $ 4.95 a piece or about $ 3.50 US a piece.

The store above was really big in 3 rail.  But now, hardly any left.  Nothing new unless you order it in.  They were out of Straight 0-27 but do have regular curves.  I bought some.  It is just stamped LIONEL on every brown tie.

I bought the straights at Chinook Hobbies who got into 3 rail a few years ago.   They have a great 3 rail layout being built in the front of the store.
